Ask Hadeer directly

Can I start as a complete beginner?

Yes. We can begin with greetings, useful everyday phrases, and the sounds of Egyptian Arabic. You can use transliteration at first and introduce Arabic script as you feel ready.

Is Egyptian Arabic different from Modern Standard Arabic?

Egyptian Arabic, often called Ammiya, is the dialect used in everyday conversations in Egypt. Modern Standard Arabic is widely used in formal writing, news, and official settings. These lessons focus on practical Egyptian conversation.

Do I need to read the Arabic alphabet?

You don’t need to read Arabic to begin speaking. English transliteration can support your first conversations, with Arabic script introduced alongside it if that fits your goals.

Are lessons online or in person?

Online lessons let you join from wherever you live. In-person lessons in Egypt can also be discussed with Hadeer, depending on location and availability.

How much do lessons cost?

Contact Hadeer for current rates, available times, and the format that suits you. You can discuss your level and goals before deciding to book.

How do I join the speaking club?
